What seems like a simple bombing mission turns into a quest to seek the warrior he once stood beside. Throughout his adventure, Cloud is forced to take on the challenges of facing the identity of his own life as well as struggle to save the planet.

Aeris Gainsbourogh
Through her beauty and kindness, Aeris holds a mystery that is both sacred and powerful. Meeting Cloud on the dirty streets of Midgar, Aeris later teams up with Cloud after an encounter with Shinra. Though her heart is pure and true, she takes interest in the relationship bewteen Cloud and Tifa.

Tifa Lockheart
Tifa is gentle and kind at heart, but once provoked, she becomes a lethal weapon. Once a childhood friend of Cloud, Tifa is a proud member of AVALANCHE and bar hostess at 7th Heaven in Sector 7. Even after five years of being apart, Tifa still can't hide her strong feelings for Cloud.

Barret Wallace
Losing his wife in an incident with Shinra years ago, Barret founded AVALANCHE: an underground resistance group whose mission is to destroy the use of Mako energy by destroying the reactors that power Midgar. Devoting his life to vengeance, Barret hires Cloud, an ex-soldier, for his first bombing mission. Little does he realize that there is much more at stake.

Cid Highwind
Destined to be the first man to explore the stars, Cid is one of the best pilots in air or on sea. With an excellent knowledge of machinery and expertise at his hand, Cloud and his team make use of Cid's skills as well as his stubborn and egotistic attitude.

RedVIII (Nanaki)
Red XIII is both gifted physically and magically. His sharp teeth and claws work with his close-range fighting style. Red XIII's limited materia slots force him to attack more and use less magic.

Cait Sith
Cait Sith seems trustworthy at first, but always seems to be just as unreliable as his fortune telling. He rides on the back of his huge stuffed Mog, magically brought to life. With his large megaphone in hand, Caith Sith shouts orders to his large Mog. Although extremely strong in battle, Cait Sith is pretty weak at heart.

Vincent Valentine
Vincent, once having a secret past with Shinra, joins Cloud in an effort to resolve the torture in his soul and the horror Shinra inflicted upon him. Although he is quiet and frail, a dark and frightening power hides within. Although it seems Vincent was merely a subject for experimentation, his existance his an even deeper secret.

Yuffie Kisaragi
Yuffie is the direct decendant of a tradition-bound ninja clan - but she could care less about "tradition." She forcefully joins AVALANCHE, hoping to use them to obtain as much materia as possible. She is sly and completely self-centered, and her young age leads to brash decision-making and tumultuous relationships.

Storyline:
The story begins when a mercenary named Cloud teams up with a rebellious group known as AVALANCHE to destroy a Mako reactor in the city of Midgar. Mako is a power source that sucks up the Life energy in the world, which is gradually destroying the planet. But the storyline changes when an evil genious known as Sephiroth takes something away that can never be returned and threats the world with a oncoming Meteor!
Characters:
Final Fantasy Seven includes a great variety of interesting individuals that span from a16 year old girl to a talking stuffed animal! The characters are Cloud; sword: a mercenary for hire, Barrett; gunarm: the leader of AVALANCHE, Tifa; fists: a childhood friend of Cloud's, Aeris; staff: a lonely flower girl, Red XIII, headress: a test expieriment, Cait Sith; megaphone: a fortune telling toy, Yuffie; throwing stuff: a 16 year old materia maniac, Cid; spear: a man despairate to get into space, and Vincent; gun: a man with a mysterious past. I love the characters in this game!

Gameplay:
I love the Limits in this game, i wish they were in all the FF games, well no actually that would take away the coolness from it actually, But they were pratically the best part of the gameplay! But all the gameplay was awesome. It's still classic FF at this point untill FF8 comes along.
Overall:
FF7 was the first FF game I've ever played and i regret it because it got me hooked on all the FF games! It got me addicted in no time and was incompareable to other RPGs. Lets face it, this is easily one of the best games made in history. But i'm not sure if its my Faviorite FF game yet...
